Australis GROUP UNDERWRITING (Australis) is a multiple lines general insurance underwriting agency operating throughout Australia. Our market positioning provides you, the broker with personal, professional and practical service coupled with competitive solutions for your business including your more unusual and challenging placements. Accordingly, we are able to provide access to markets often unavailable to brokers.

We don't pretend that we can do everything, but if we cannot do it, we won't string you along and falsely raise your expectations. If we cannot assist, it is likely that we may be able to direct you to a market that can.

As you would expect, Australis only underwrites for "A" rated insurers because at the end of the day, we are both selling security and it is unacceptable to expose your clients to insurers who are considered by industry specialists to have less than first class claims paying capabilities. Naturally, Australis is tribunalised at Lloyd's of London. All insurers we underwrite for are either authorised by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority or the United Kingdom Financial Services Authority.
